Tri-Fruit Solitaire is TriPeaks with a fruity coat of paint. Fruit decorates the cards, and the familiar pyramids come down one card at a time, each taken card becoming the new target at the bottom of the screen.
It is listed in our Solitaire section, and a smartphone runs it just like a laptop would, so a deal fits into a short wait. If standard TriPeaks is too plain for you, the fruit theme adds some cheer.
How TriPeaks works
Look at the face up card at the foot of the table. A fruit card in the peaks that is free and differs from it by exactly one, say a Four against a Five, may be taken, and it becomes the new base card. Chain as many as you can. Out of options, turn over a fresh card and carry on until the table is empty.
Clearing more cards
- Before each move, check which choice opens up the most hidden cards.
- A long chain is worth more than grabbing a single easy card.
- Keep an eye on how many cards remain in the draw pile.
