Best Classic Solitaire is the Klondike version of solitaire, the one most people simply call solitaire. The seven column tableau, the stock and the foundations built from Ace upward all sit exactly where you remember them. You will find more card games like it in our Solitaire section.
It was designed with phones in mind, so it plays comfortably in a mobile browser, and it works just as well on a computer. A single deal takes a few minutes, which makes it a good fit for a short break.
Klondike rules in brief
Stack cards downward on the seven columns, switching color at every step, so a black 7 wants a red 6 under it. An empty column accepts only a King. When nothing moves, flip from the stock. Aces head to the foundations the moment they appear, and filling all four foundations from Ace to King wins the deal.
Winning more deals
- Uncover face down cards in the columns before you lean on the stock.
- Try not to empty a column unless a King is ready to move into it.
- Do not rush every card to the foundations, low cards can still help you rearrange the columns.
