TriPeaks Solitaire Mobile is a clean, stylish take on the classic TriPeaks card game, built in HTML5. The cards are laid out in three peaks, and you clear them by building a chain on the waste pile, each card a step up or a step down from the last.
The Mobile in the title tells you it was built with small screens in mind, yet a desktop mouse works fine as well. It is one of our Solitaire games, and a good choice if you want a patience game that moves faster than Klondike.
Classic TriPeaks rules
A face up card from the peaks may go onto the discard heap if it is one value above or below the card showing there, so a Seven fits on an Eight or a Six. Colors and suits are ignored. When nothing fits, flip the next card from the deck and continue from there. Empty all three peaks and the deal is won.
TriPeaks strategy
- Look for long runs of cards before you play the first one.
- Uncovering face down cards is often worth more than playing an easy card.
- Do not rush to the deck while a move is still available.
