Solitaire Swift is a quick solitaire built on the higher or lower idea, close to the golf and TriPeaks family. You never need to worry about suits or colors, only about whether the next card sits directly above or below the last one.
A key symbol on some cards adds a second layer, since playing those opens more build piles. It is an HTML5 game for phone and computer, listed in our solitaire games.
Playing up and down
Look at the card on the build pile. You can play any card whose rank sits directly above or below it, regardless of its suit or color, and you can keep chaining cards in either direction. When you uncover a card with a key on it and play it, another build pile unlocks, which gives you more places to put cards.
Tips for longer chains
- Look for long runs such as 5, 6, 7, 6, 5 before you start, rather than playing the first match you see.
- Prioritize key cards, more build piles mean more options later.
- When you have a choice, play the card that reveals a hidden one.
