Hearts Mobile is the classic card game Hearts, where the aim is to avoid taking hearts and the Queen of Spades in your tricks. Before each hand every player passes three cards to someone else.

The passing direction changes from hand to hand, which adds a little strategy before play even starts. It is filed with our Solitaire games, and as the name hints, it suits a phone screen, though a desktop works too.

How a hand of Hearts goes

After seeing your cards, pick three and pass them face down. You pass before you look at the cards you receive. The first hand passes left, the second right, the third across the table, and on the fourth there is no pass. Then play tricks by following suit, and try to take as few penalty cards as possible.

💡

Hearts strategy

  • Pass away high spades if you want to avoid ending up with the Queen of Spades.
  • Try to empty a suit early so you can discard penalty cards later.
  • Watch which hearts have been played to judge what is still out there.
