Best Classic Pyramid Solitaire deals the cards in a pyramid and asks you to take it apart two cards at a time. It is one of the classic patience games, simpler to learn than Klondike but tricky to actually clear. There are more card games like it in our Cards category.
The game was made for phones, so it fits a small screen well, and it also plays in any desktop browser. Each deal is quick, which makes it easy to play a few in a row.
Pyramid rules
Take away two exposed cards at a time when their values total 13, so a 6 pairs with a 7 and a Queen, worth 12, pairs with an Ace. Jacks are 11. Kings count 13 on their own and leave the table alone. Turn over stock cards to find partners, and the deal is won once the pyramid has disappeared.
Clearing the pyramid
- Plan which pairs uncover the most cards in the rows below.
- Do not spend stock cards on easy pairs you could make later.
- A King that becomes free can go straight away, so clear it.
