Reach the Core starts with two robots drifting through space when their energy suddenly runs out. Luckily a nearby planet holds the plasma they need, but it is buried deep, and the only way to get it is to dig all the way to the core. It is a mining game, listed with our Action games.

Digging for plasma
Your task is to take the robots down through the planet until they reach its core, where the plasma is. Management and equipment purchases are part of it, so expect choices along the way rather than only digging. The deeper the robots go, the closer they get to the plasma, so plan your way down rather than digging at random.
