Wicked Lies puts you on the side of detectives, the people who live for that moment when a tough case finally breaks. Catching the guilty quickly is the whole job, and only the sharpest investigators manage it.
Here the detective work becomes a search puzzle, clicked through with the mouse. Every scene hides objects you have to spot, much as an investigator hunts for clues. More careful observation of that kind is in Hidden Objects.
Working the case
In the usual hidden object routine, a scene arrives along with a roll call of what is hidden in it, and each correct click removes one name. Work on until the names are gone. Some objects hide half behind others or share the colors of the background, which is why outlines are worth studying.
Detective habits that help
- Read the whole list first so your eye knows what shapes to hunt for.
- Split the picture into quarters and finish one before starting the next.
- When one object refuses to appear, park it and return later with fresh eyes.
