Backgammon rules in short

Roll the dice and move your sushi by the numbers shown. A point on the board can only belong to one player at a time, so you can stand in the way of your rival by holding points ahead of them. Once all your pieces reach your home area, bear them off onto the plate. Whoever clears every piece first wins.
