Jewel Burst sends you out among the stars to gather gems, and the way you gather them is the classic match 3 rule. Get a trio of matching stones side by side and they burst off the board. Our Match 3 section is its home, among other gem swappers.
Being a small HTML5 game, it loads in seconds without any install. Click the jewels on a desktop, or tap them on a phone while waiting for a bus.
Playing Jewel Burst
Look over the grid for spots where one move would put three matching jewels side by side, in a row or in a column. The genre standard is trading places between two adjacent jewels, after which the completed set vanishes. Lines of four or five identical stones clear more at once. New jewels then drop in from above to fill the gaps, which sometimes sets off extra matches by itself.
Getting more out of each move
- Work near the bottom of the grid, falling jewels from above can then set off bonus matches.
- Before you commit, check whether a move sets up a line of four or five instead of just three.
- When nothing seems possible, look for two equal jewels with a gap between them.
