Fruit Matching is a colorful match 3 game with a strict clock, since you get just sixty seconds to score as high as you can. Pieces of fruit fill the grid, and lining them up is how points come in.
Three power ups keep things lively, a bomb, a fruit that clears every piece of one kind, and an hourglass that can hand you a few extra seconds if luck is on your side. It takes clicks or taps, and more games like it are in Matching Game.
Scoring in sixty seconds
Every group of three or more matching fruits you clear adds points. A row of four gives you the Bomb, which destroys the fruit around it. A row of five or more gives you the Changing Fruit, which wipes out every fruit of one kind on the grid. The Hourglass can add a few seconds to your minute.
Getting a higher score
- Keep an eye out for lines of four or five, the power ups clear far more than a simple match.
- Make quick decisions rather than waiting for the perfect move, the minute runs out fast.
- In match 3 games a match near the bottom shifts the fruit above it and can set up a new match on its own.
