Matching tiles the classic way
Select two identical tiles and they disappear. In classic mahjong solitaire only free tiles can be taken, which means tiles with nothing on top and an open left or right side. Clear pairs with some thought, since removing the wrong ones early can leave the last tiles stuck.
Mahjong tips
- Go after the tallest piles early, they bury the most tiles.
- When all four copies of a tile are free, remove both pairs.
- Look for pairs that open up long rows before taking the easy ones.
