Alien Galaxy War is a vertical shooter, the classic arcade layout where your ship sits near the bottom of the screen and the enemy pours in from above. Here that means waves of alien spaceships, and you need to shoot them all down while also scooping up as many stars as you can.
It is filed in our Shoot Em Up section, and the HTML5 build means a phone copes with it too. Sessions can be as short as you like, perfect for a coffee break.
Defending the galaxy
Steer your fighter by moving the mouse, or by sliding a fingertip across a touch display. Your shots fly up the screen toward the incoming alien ships. Destroy them before they reach you and collect the stars that appear. Stay alive as long as you can and push your total higher each time you play.
Survive longer
- Keep your ship low and near the center so you can dodge either way.
- Do not chase every star if it puts you in the path of an enemy.
- Watch the edges of the screen, ships entering from the side are easy to miss.
