Battle for Darkness lets you play the villain for once. You are in charge of a dark army marching against the Realm and its forces, and waiting at the end is the huge Titan. It is a solid pick from our Strategy shelf.
What keeps it interesting is how much control you have over the troops. Each unit has special skills, formations can be rearranged by dragging icons, and the army grows as you upgrade and recruit. It is a Flash strategy classic, played here through Ruffle.
Commanding the dark army
Before each battle, set up your formation by dragging unit icons into the lines where you want them. Once the fight starts, use each unit type's special skill at the right moment. Between battles, spend what you earned on upgrades and new recruits so the army can handle stronger enemies.
Strategy notes
- Put your toughest units in the front line and keep ranged ones behind.
- Learn what each unit's skill does early, the later fights depend on it.
- Do not skip upgrades, a weak army stalls fast against the Titan.
